Chris Sullivan (1953-2023), collected extensively throughout eastern Australia during the 1980s and 1990s. He worked with John Meredith, Dave de Hugard and others. He formed the "Horton River Band" with Barry McDonald, Mark Rummery, Cathy Rummery and others to interview, play and record the tunes of Charlie Bachelor. He left and extensive collection of music in the National Library of Australia. The Chris Sullivan Collection can be found at [1]. Sullivan was a skilled musician who played a range of instruments including fiddle, Melodeon and concertinas.
