He played two accordions, one a Hohner 'Double Ray' two row instrument in the keys of B and C with twelve bass buttons and the other a Hohner 'Corso' in C and C sharp with eight basses. Bill was an extremely versatile player on both instruments; he played at a lively pace, introducing all sorts of decorations and variations."
