Caroline Pratley, Kerrs Creek, NSW provided details of some of the Australian tunes in this archive.

Caroline Rich, born 1910, grew up in the Kerrs Creek area between Wellington and Orange NSW. "Caroline Pratley is one of those amazing ladies who have taught themselves to play the piano 'by ear'. She plays strict dance tempo and with lots of little decorations. Her tunes were learnt from her father and several uncles who played both button accordions and concertinas. Before retiring the Pratleys had a sheep stud at Peel, on the road to Sofala from Bathurst, where Caroline played for many of the local social and school events" - John Meredith, FSA v.2, p287
