Ray Simpson, Melbourne, Vic. provided details of some of the Australian tunes in this archive, and recorded some tunes collected in the Nariel Valley.
Ray and Ian Simpson are part of the extended Klippel family of musicians than settled in the Nariel Valley in the 1850s. They were sons of Neville Simpson and grandsons of Charlie Ordish, married into the family during the C20th.
