Ray and Ian Simpson form part of the extended Klippel family of musicians that first settled in the Nariel Valley in the 1850s. They were sons of Neville Simpson, grandsons of Charlie Ordish, who married into the family during the C20th, and Great Great Grandsons of Con Klippel (1839-1877). Ray plays button accordion.
