Violet Endacott, Mudgee, NSW provided details of some of the Australian tunes in this archive, as described by John Meredith, and also collected by Chris Sullivan.

"Violet Endacott was born at Rylstone in 1905, an elfin-like lady, she was the daughter of Arthur Gosper of Rylstone and Yarragrin, a noted fiddle player for dances in those districts. Mrs Endacot was a self-taught musician and played piano, violin and button accordion by ear." -- J Meredith, R Covell, P Brown, Folk Songs of Australia Vol 2, UNSW Press, 1987, p37-8.
