Charlie Foster "gave me the address of his elder brother, Arthur 'Cassidy' Foster, who was living in retirement at Killarney Vale on the Central Coast, and whom I visited soon after the Tumbarumba expedition. Arthur, who had worked as a Telecom linesman, had travelled more than his brother and had thus picked up more tunes. As well as fiddle, he played mandolin and was a virtuoso player on the leaf." -- J Meredith, R Covell, P Brown, Folk Songs of Australia Vol 2, UNSW Press, 1987, p260.
