Chris Sullivan (1953-2023), collected extensively throughout eastern Australia during the 1980s and 1990s. He worked with John Meredith, Dave de Hugard and others. He formed the "Horton River Band" with Barry McDonald, Mark Rummery, Cathy Rummery and others to interview, play and record the tunes of Charlie Bachelor. He left an extensive collection of music as the Chris Sullivan Collection, which can be found at NLA Bib ID 2695426 in the National Library of Australia in Canberra. Sullivan was a skilled musician who played a range of instruments including fiddle, Melodeon and concertinas. A number of tunes from his collection are included in this archive.
