Wedderburn Oldtimers, Vic provided details of some of the Australian tunes in this archive.

"The Wedderburn Oldtimers, particularly Daisy Sutton, Lindsay Holt and their extraordinarily talented pianist Elma Ross, were of immense assistance in providing tunes and in the social history of a real old time dance in the bush ... The combination consisted of piano as lead, two violins or sometimes three, of which one was a Strohviol, one button accordion as support lead, sometimes two, or an Anglo concertina, then tin whistle, banjo and drums ... The rhythm of the acoustic Wedderburn Oldtimers is something that was tremendous and I don’t know that there is any particular factor that it could be put down to." -- Peter Ellis, "The Waltz, The Polka and All Kinds of Dance Music", 2007.
