Alice Doran, Armidale, NSW provided details of some of the Australian tunes in this archive, collected by Barry McDonald.

There is a recording of Alice Doran interviewed by Barry McDonald in the National Library of Australia in Canberra, from Dec 1983. In it, she recalls how she became a musician and her view that ear music is the sweetest music ... playing the accordion and how she used to sing at dances.
