Jim French, Moree, NSW provided details of some of the Australian tunes in this archive, collected by Chris Sullivan and Mark Rummery.
Jim French was an aboriginal shearer and button accordion player from Moree. He was one of a number of aboriginal musicians from this area. He was recorded extensively by Chris Sullivan and Mark Rummery. Recordings of 11 interviews can be found in the Chris Sullivan Collection in the National Library of Australia in Canberra.
