Ted Vallance (1919-), St Arnaud, Vic provided details of some of the Australian tunes in this archive, collected by John Meredith & Peter Ellis.

There are some photos of him in Peter Ellis, "The Waltz, The Polka and All Kinds of Dance Music", 2007.

There are recordings of him in the National Library of Australia in Canberra, search the NLA catalog for "Ted Valance" note the changed spelling of the surname In these "Ted Valance plays piano-accordion and talks."
