The Dawson family (Edie Dawson & Paddy Dawson), Tasmania provided details of some of the Australian tunes in this archive, collected by John Meredith & Rob Willis.
There is a recording of Paddy Dawson and Edie Dawson interviewed by Rob Willis in the National Library of Australia in Canberra, from Jan 2003. In it Paddie and Edie Dawson recall their family background; family musical influences; the importance of music in the family; singing and playing the melodeon; family life in the early 20th century; traditional songs, tunes and dances.
