Jeff Lawrie, collected, arranged, transcribed & recorded some of the Australian tunes in this archive.

The National Library of Australia holds aural recordings of interviews conducted with Jeff Lawrie. He was interviewed by

  • Mark Schuster and Maria Zann in December 1991, [1]. Jeff Lawrie and Maz Plane of Terania Creek, NSW, are both collectors and performers of Australian old time traditional music. Jeff plays three-row button accordion and Maz performs on the fiddle. Both Jeff and Maz are highly accomplished traditional music collectors and performers from northern New South Wales.
