H:"The Recruiting Officer", to commemorate the birthday of King George III.
H:In attendance were the Governor of the new colony in Sydney, Arthur Phillip and a number
H:of other notable figures in the one-year-old colony.
H:The play was performed in a convict built hut. The play itself dates from much earlier in the c.18th
