Born in the mid 1880s, Carl Piglich emigrated to Australia as a young man prior to WWI; he found work clearing scrub around southern Queensland. He arrived with an accordion and a bunch of tunes and his ability to play them was and still is acknowledged as legendary. Piglich died in the late 1980s aged 104. - Mark Schuster [1]
