Herb Tattersall, Gulgong, NSW provided details of some of the Australian tunes in this archive, collected by John Meredith.
Herb Tattersall "played the concertina and several kinds of zither. The zither he liked best of all was called a 'guitar-banjo-mandolin' and was akin to a zither strung with strings in pairs like a mandolin. There are recordings of him in Norm Rowland, Herb Tattersall, Peter Bert ... interviewed by John Meredith and Henry J. Keene, Herb Tattersall, Ron MacGuire, Mick Riley and Duke Tritton interviewed by John Meredith in the National Library of Australia in Canberra. In these he sings and plays accordion music; and also a 'banjo-guitar-mandolin', a zither like instrument.
