Maz Plane, collected some of the Australian tunes in this archive.

The National Library of Australia holds aural recordings and interviews conducted with Maz Plane. He was interviewed by:

  • Chris Sullivan in 1988 [1]. Horton River Band recorded at the Weekend of Traditional Australian Music. "Music collected, performed and presented by Mark and Cathy Ovenden, Jacko Kevans, Barry McDonald, Geoff Lawrie, Maz Plane, Chris Sullivan and others"
  • Mark Schuster and Maria Zann in December 1991, [2]. "Jeff Lawrie and Maz Plane of Terania Creek, NSW, are both collectors and performers of Australian old time traditional music. Jeff plays three-row button accordion and Maz performs on the fiddle. Both Jeff and Maz are highly accomplished traditional music collectors and performers from northern New South Wales."
