The National Library of Australia holds aural recordings of interviews conducted with Mrs Phillips. She was interviewed by:
- Alan Scott in 1956-1957, [1], "Rose Napp plays accordion accompanied by Fred Napp on bones ; and, Jack Gilbert plays accordion accompanied by Tommy McGain on bones ; Mrs Phillips sings and plays accordion and Mr Phillips recites recorded". Mrs Phillips and her husband recorded at Warrawong, N.S.W. in 1956 or 1957.
