Tom Byrnes & Mary Byrnes, Sydney, NSW provided details of some of the Australian tunes in this archive, as described by John Meredith.
"When John Meredith returned to Mary Byrnes's home in 1955 he met her brother-in-law, Tom, aged sixty-six, who also came from the Springside-Springhill district. He sang a number of songs and lilted several quite good dance tunes.
