Alice Mahoney, Mudgee, NSW provided details of some of the Australian tunes in this archive, as recorded by John Meredith.

"Mrs Alice Mahoney and her sister Mrs Milly Collie was born to the Cunningham family soon after 1900. They grew up at Two Mile Flat near Gulgong ... and used to accompany their parents to dances ... where she learnt to old dance tunes she played for Chris Sullivan and me on her violin. ...
